POLICE have seized suspected illegal tobacco with a street valuer of £4,000.
Two officers on foot patrol in Watchet confiscated 149 packets of tobacco from a car in Watchet on Friday (June 3).
The offender has been reported for offences to trading standards and Customs and Excise.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson tweeted: "(On Friday) whilst footpatrol in Watchet SC Simon and Sophie seized 149 packets of tobacco from a car to the value of £4,500.
"The seller reported for offences and trading standards and customs and excise will be dealing."
