DOZENS of people looking for a home to retire to took a look round the show suite of a new housing complex in Taunton.
The suite at Kingfisher Court, in South Street, was officially opened by Cllr Sue Lees, the Mayor of Taunton, and Hazel Prior-Sankey, the chairman of Somerset West and Taunton Council last Wednesday (June 1).
Local retirees were given a VIP preview of the Retirement Living Plus development following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Kingfisher Court features a total of 62 one- and two-bed apartments for the over 70s.
There is also a communal lounge, landscaped gardens and a guest suite.
