New Taunton Starbucks store set to open TODAY, June 8

The store is set to open its doors, and its drive-thru lane officially on Wednesday June 8 from 6.30am.

To celebrate the opening, the store will be offering 50 lucky customers complimentary reusable cups every day for the first week.

This will be the second store in the town operated by a regional co-operative family which Cobra Coffee is part of and it will create 16 news jobs.

Store manager Hayley Brown said: "I'm really excited to be joining Starbucks and leading the team in this beautiful new Drive Thru.

"We have such a passionate team from the local area who are excited to welcome local customers from the 8 June!"

The store has a contemporary design, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a handcrafted cup of coffee and relax with the comfortable seating and free wi-fi.

The new Taunton store will be signed up to the Too Good To Go scheme - a leading surplus food app which allows customers to buy surplus food and drink products which are near to their expiry date.

Delivery will also be fully available within the month to all customers via Uber Eats.

Customers can also order via the Starbucks UK App, available for iPhone and Android, to order ahead, skip the queue and collect to takeaway.

Starbucks will also offer a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.

The new store is located at Deane Retail Park, Hankridge Way, Taunton, TA1 2LR, and will be open from 6.30am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday, and from 7:30am to 6:00pm Sunday.
