A SERIES of floral displays and an interactive summer lounge are now available to Clarks Village visitors.

The summer lounge and floral displays, which the outlet village has called Blossoming at Clarks Village, launched on May 28 and will be available to shoppers until September 2.

The floral displays feature “cascades of beautiful silk flowers” in the centre of the village, which the shopping centre says “offer the perfect backdrop to your luxury shopping experience, not to mention those all-important selfies with friends and family”.

The floral displays were designed and installed by Bakehouse Shilpa Reddy Flower Designs, an expert in luxury flower arranging and wedding installations.

Clarks Village has also described the summer lounge garden as a “captivating space” filled with “idyllic sights, sounds and smells”.

The summer lounge may double-up as a space for events or pop-up stalls.

Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village, said: “With spring in full bloom, and summer on its way, we wanted to offer an opportunity for our shoppers to re-engage with friends and family and enjoy some floral fun, which is exactly what we hope Blossoming at Clarks Village will bring.

“Our aim is to provide the perfect destination for our guests to flourish, whether that’s being inspired by the red and white colours from the floral installations or enjoying spending time relaxing with friends and family and appreciating the calm oasis.

“We’re also delighted to open up the space to the public to utilise and look forward to welcoming a wide array of local businesses and performers to Clarks Village over the summer months.”

Clarks Village visitors will be able to make use of the outlet centre's mix of premium brands and high street names at up to 60 per cent of their recommended retail prices, while its range of cafés and restaurants will be open throughout the summer.

The outlet is putting a call out for local artisan businesses, choirs, musicians, and performers to step into the spotlight and help bring the garden to life with entertainment and local artisan markets.
