IF you're planning on sitting in the sun in Taunton's Vivary Park next week, here's some information from Somerset West and Taunton Council you ought to know.
For safety reasons, the main front gates to the park will be closed for a limited period from Monday (June 20) while path resurfacing work continues.
However, alternative access can be gained via the gates on the west side of the park.
The resurfacing work will shift to the other side of the park from Monday, covering paths at the rear gates, the café, toilets, stream and finishing at the war memorial.
A council spokesperson said: "This work forms part of an ongoing plan to ensure our green spaces are safe and welcoming for all."
