UPDATE: Travel Somerset has reported that the “fallen tree has been removed”.
DRIVERS have been asked to avoid a road in Yeovil following reports of a fallen tree.
At around 4:30pm, Travel Somerset, the county council's roads information service, said traffic was being directed away from the affected road and asked drivers to avoid the area.
#Yeovil: There is a Police report of a tree down on Lysander Rd in Yeovil, opposite Forest Hill. The tree is blocking half the road, so traffic is currently being directed away so it can be cleared.

The service tweeted: “There is a police report of a tree down on Lysander Road in Yeovil, opposite Forest Hill.

The Travel Somerset website says there are delays between Watercombe Lane and the A30 Queensway.
