VIVARY GC Seniors section recently raised and donated £2,762 to Pancreatic Cancer UK following a series of auctions, raffles and charity competitions during the 2021/2022 season.

Outgoing Seniors captain Mike Gough said: “For a small club such as Vivary this represents a huge sum and speaks volumes about the generosity of our members and guests.”

Sue Collins, director of fundraising at Pancreatic Cancer UK, added: “We are delighted to receive such a tremendous sum from the Vivary Seniors.

"The funds raised will help us to take on this extremely tough disease, which around 10,000 people are diagnosed with every year in the UK and will help us offer support to patients and families, invest in vital research to help us see the breakthroughs we urgently need, and be a voice for everyone affected by the disease.”

Vivary Golf Club is open to the public 7 days a week and is available to book for private functions from meetings to weddings
