Glastonbury music festival is now underway, with event promising five days of live music from a host of great performers.

Due to the Covid pandemic this is the first time the festival has taken place since 2019 and hundreds of thousands of people are expected to make the most of its return.

Iconic names on the line up including Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys, Olivia Rodrigo, Sir Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish.

Outside of the music meteorologist Tom Morgan, from the Met Office, told PA this year’s weather outlook promises to be “one of two halves”.

Temperatures could reach 27C at the 900-acre site – 9C higher than usual – in the lead-up to the world-famous event.

However, the mud synonymous with Glastonbury is still set to make an appearance, with showers and thunderstorms predicted from Friday (June 24) onwards.

One of the usual features of the event is a live webcam of the event, and here's the information on how to watch it.
