THE reigning Mrs Atlantic UK is presenting the trophies in the Cadet Drill Competition in Taunton's Vivary Park on Somerset Armed Forces Day on Saturday, July 2.
Dionne John, who won her title in a nationwide contest earlier this year, said: "I am over the moon to be involved with Somerset Armed Forces Day.
"This day is so important to me to be able to show my support to all the men and women who make up the armed forces community and say a massive thank you for all the incredible things you do.”
Dionne is often busy in the community and has volunteered to help pack boxes of needed items to send to Ukraine and donated many bags of clothed to the Taunton homeless shelter Open Door.
She also collected more than 300 Easter eggs for the children’s ward at Musgrove Park Hospital.
She has raised a total of more than £10,000 for various charities by sponsored events such as a 15,000ft skydive, a firewalk and a 75-mile swim at the town's Nuffield gym.
