HERE are some photos from the Monthly Games Day and other events held at Taunton Library.
The Monthly Games Day takes place on the last Saturday of every month.
As part of the event, the SPACE presented their 9 to 5 Musical and took it to the streets of Taunton.
The musical was also performed at the library.
David Duthie, course director at the SPACE and co-director of the ‘9 to 5 Musical’, said: “We were thrilled to take to the streets of Taunton to share a glimpse of our latest show, including a special impromptu performance at the library.
“We cannot wait to take to the stage with our professional set and live band.
Presented to you by The SPACE Company, who’s recent sellout shows include Guys and Dolls, Sister Act and Chicago, Dolly Parton’s smash-hit musical is the most fun you’ll have at the theatre all year.
With a rip-roaring score by the Queen of Country, ‘9 to 5 the Musical’ tells the story of three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor.
Inspired by the iconic 80s film and brought to you by Dolly herself, this hilarious new production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business.
Below are some photos taken at the Monthly Games Day, the Dads’ Club (free story and play group aimed at under 5s, but all ages welcome), and the flash mob that promoted the 9 to 5 Musical.
