ST MARGARET’S Hospice is helping people to get fitter with a new free digital challenge.

The hospice has launched its new free digital challenge, 30 minutes for 30 days, and is asking supporters to do 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days while asking friends and family to donate.

Whether you go out for a run in the countryside or hula-hoop in your garden, staying active for 30 minutes a day can help you to reduce stress, improve productivity and become healthy.

Ellie Weston, marketing and events officer at St Margaret’s, said: “We are so excited that we’ve launched our 30 minutes for 30 days digital challenge.

"This challenge is perfect if you want to kickstart your healthy lifestyle this Summer whilst raising money for St Margaret’s Hospice.

“We can’t wait to see your photos of you taking part so please tag us on social media and use #30for30 and we will share your favourite pictures. Good luck everyone.”

Everyone can take part, whether you raise sponsorship or not, but if you are able to raise money £30 could pay for a patient to have a session with a physiotherapist at St Margaret’s to help them to control their breathing, help with the symptoms of a life-limiting illness.
