AFTER Somerset's record breaking win against Derbyshire, head coach Jason Kerr said it was one of the best days for him in the job.

"Both quarter finals, this year and last have been great days for me personally.

"To repeat it in such a comprehensive way this year, with the warm weather, a full house at Taunton, it doesn't get much better.

He said the fans give the Somerset players an extra boost.

"Our fans are immense, they really are, I can't speak highly enough of them. The atmosphere in Taunton is electric the whole time, I am grateful for the support we get, they truly make plenty of noise."

And on Finals Day, Kerr said there is reasons to be confident.

"We weren't at our best last year on Finals Day and we got to the final, so I think if we can take any confidence from today (quarter-final) and the performance, we don't fear anybody."
