A DOUBLE-DECKER bus collided with a shop on Glastonbury High Street.
Yesterday morning (Thursday, July 21) a bus hit the Emajon shop and emergency services were on the scene at around 10.49am.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the driver was taken to hospital.
The force also said they are “not aware of any other reported injuries”.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10:49hrs on Thursday 21 July to an incident in Glastonbury.
“We sent an air ambulance and two double-crewed land ambulances and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Yeovil District Hospital.”
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called just before 11am on Thursday, July 21 to a collision on Glastonbury High Street.
“A double-decker bus collided with a building. Ambulance crews assessed the driver, who was taken to hospital.
“We're not aware of any other reported injuries.”
