STRODE College have launched a variety of distance learning and online courses.

These courses are aimed at adults that are looking to re-train, upskill or get back into work.

Distance and online learning allows the individual to study around other commitments such as family and work, saving money on travel costs.

Strode College will offer impartial advice on which courses are best for the learner and will guide applicants through the enrolment process.

The college has said, the benefits of online learning include: "Flexible and convenient, and enhance professional development for career progression and prospects."

Jo Tucker, adult skills course manager said: “We are excited to offer adult learners a fantastic range of flexible distance learning courses.

"These courses allow for personal and career progression, focusing on the knowledge and skills employers are looking for, whilst boosting individual confidence.

"Distance and online learning allow adults to work out their own pace and give people the opportunity to study at their own convenience.

Adult students who are currently 19 plus and have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification, can study the following courses FREE.

These courses are either on campus or online:

  • AAT Accounting – Advanced Diploma – Full Level 3
  • Leadership and Management (ILM) – Diploma – Full Level 3
  • Children’s Learning and Development – Early Years Educator – Diploma – Full Level 3
  • Healthcare Support – Diploma Level 3
  • Paediatric First Aid Award – Level 3
  • Residential Childcare – Diploma – Level 3
  • IT User Skills – ICDL Advanced (BCS) – Certificate – Full Level 3
