A WELLINGTON man has appeared in court for speeding on two separate occasions.
Thierry Viatge, 59, of Mantle Street, Wellington, received a total of seven points on his driving licence after pleading guilty to both offences at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
He was clocked doing 41mph on the B3151 Somerton Road Street, on June 17 last year and 40mph on the A39 at Walton on August 19 last year.
Both were 30mph zones.
He was also fined a total of £306 with a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
VIOREL Gheorghe, 48, of Cheddon Road, Taunton, admitted speeding on the M5 in Somerset on February 11 this year.
He was caught doing 59mph in a temporary 50mph limit between Junctions 24 (North Petherton) and 25 (Taunton).
Gheorghe was find £100 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
