CURRY Rivel Live was back in the village at the weekend and locals enjoyed the entertainment on offer from a large number of bands.

Before the event, the organisers said: "Curry Rivel is back this year and we're excited to be able to entertain you with some truly amazing bands."

And that they did.

Guests enjoyed the sounds of local music from midday to 11pm at Westfield Playing Fields on Holdens Way in Curry Rivel.

Miles Peckover and Darryl Twitch were the first two acts of the event.

They were followed by Lizzie Pawsey, Dave Woan and Maelei.

The Jamestown Brothers and Jack Humphries got the crowd going as the sun began to set.

Then as evening came in Electric Peach and Wrecking Ball rocked the crowd.

Finally the three headline acts, Break Beak Bandits, Snakebyte and Haus Band brought the house down and closed what was another successful Curry Rivel Live festival.
