AN investment property in Street sold prior to auction.
The freehold of the terraced property – five flats and a newsagent – was listed with a freehold guide of £120,000 plus.
Audrey Smith of Clive Emson auctioneers said: “There was keen interest before the auction and the buyer made an offer which was accepted by the vendor.
“The new owner will see the benefit of an immediate return from three flats on assured shorthold tenancies at the property.”
Located at 8-12 High Street, the freehold of the terraced property comprises five flats and a newsagent.
Two of the flats and the newsagent have been sold off on long leases while the remaining three flats deliver a joint return of £17,796 per annum.
The property was auctioned in arrangement with Tor Estates of Glastonbury.
