A YOUNG Wellington driver tested positive for cocaine while in charge of a BMW 2 series.
Marlee Cordy, 20, of Sylvan Road, was found to have more than the specified limit of benzoylecgonine in his body on or about October 8 last year.
Benzoylecgonine is the compound tested for in cocaine analysis.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Cordy tested positive for the substance in North Street Car Park.
He denied the charge but was found guilty by the magistrates.
Cordy was fined £350 and ordered to pay a £35 victim surcharge and £30 costs.
He was also given 10 points on his driving licence.
