POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was subjected to a tirade of racist abuse in a Sainsbury's car park.
An unknown man approached the victim while he was sitting in his car and started making racial comments.
The suspect then climbed into his own car, parked near the victim's stationary vehicle and continued to racially abuse him.
The incident outside Sainsbury's in Wessex Fields, Frome, took place on Tuesday of last week (August 2) at around 5.30pm.
The victim described the culprit as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, of large build with brown hair and a receding hairline.
The suspect was wearing dark jeans, green-brown T-shirt and was clean-shaven.
He was driving a dark-coloured 4×4-style vehicle.
