THREE teenage boys have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Taunton.
The incident happened yesterday, Sunday, August 14 outside Sainsbury’s on Billet Street at around 2.30pm.
A man in his 20s was assaulted and received treatment at the hospital for a stab wound to the leg.
Three teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have been released under investigation.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’re investigating after a man in his 20s was assaulted in Taunton yesterday (Sunday, 14 August).
“The incident happened at around 2.30pm outside Sainsbury’s on Billet Street.
“The victim received treatment at the hospital for a stab wound to the leg.
“Three teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have since been released under investigation.
“As part of our enquiry, we’re reviewing CCTV, and neighbourhood officers are also patrolling the area to provide reassurance to the community.
“Enquiries continue.”
