TAUNTON Town suffered a 0-1 defeat away from home on Saturday at Concord Rangers.
It was a tense battle and one where the Peacocks had their chances to score but a lesson was learned about the quality in the National League South.
After the match, manager Rob Dray said: "Steep learning curve, I thought for large parts we were in the ascendancy but we didn't get a goal when we needed to.
"They managed the game a little bit better than us but there were some moments where we did well. I was pleased with large parts of the game."
Games come thick and fast in this league and now Taunton are preparing for another away match on Tuesday night (August 16).
"Looking ahead to Farnborough on Tuesday night, we are looking to win, as we always do.
"We have more than enough to do well, we have proved that. But it will be a hard ten games where we are learning, it will be a steep learning curve."
Taunton Town are next at home on Saturday, August 20 when they host Dartford, kick off is 3pm.
