THE latest Taunton Independent Market attracted plenty of visitors to the town centre yesterday (Sunday, August 14).
Organiser Michelle Beck said: "What a fabulous day was had by all at the August edition of the Taunton Independent Market.
"It was very hot and sunny, but there were smiles all round and lots of support for our fabulous family of traders.
"I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and braved the heat, to all the traders for coming and spending the day in Taunton and to the many people behind the scenes who help me to make it all run smoothly."
The next market on Castle Green is on Sunday, September 11.
In the meantime, Ms Beck is urging people to continue to shop locally wherever possible.
