CLARKS Village is holding its first dog-friendly event with plenty of pawsome activities - and the chance for one pooch to be crowned the Street outlet’s ‘top dog’.

The free Pawsome Pooch event will offer canine owners a free pet photoshoot as part of its casting competition to find its first-ever furry face.

As well as the photoshoots in the Clarks Village gardens, there are some great puptastic activities, including a Pooch Pamper Pod, agility and trick displays and ‘have-a-go’ hooper and agility sessions run by K9 Heaven, all of which are free. Local animal rescue charity Happy Landings will also be there.

The open-to-all event is on Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18 between 11am and 4pm.

Dog owners are advised to pre-book an appointment.

All entrants who have a professional photograph taken will receive a free digital pawtrait, with the top shortlisted entries chosen by a panel of canine critiques and put forward for a public vote to pick the outlet’s paw-fect poster pup.

The winner will be crowned the official top dog of Clarks Village and featured in future campaigns with the owner receiving £500 shopping vouchers.

Owners can also enter by heading down to Clarks Village between 11am and 4pm across the weekend and look out for the roaming photographer for a quick walk-in snap session.

Or you can nominate you dog by uploading a photo to Instagram between 11am on the Saturday and 4pm on the Sunday with the hashtag #CVPawsomePooch.
