THERE was an outpouring of love as Taunton turned out in force this lunchtime (Sunday, September 11) to bid farewell to The Queen and to welcome the new King.
The Proclamation of Elizabeth II's death and the accession to the throne of Charles III was read in the town centre, in front of the Market House.
VIPs processed from The Minster to the venue watched by hundreds of people.
