A BANK branch in the heart of Taunton is currently closed for refurbishments.
The Lloyds Bank branch on Fore St, Taunton shut its doors to customers on Friday, September 16 at 2pm.
Customers will not be able to return into the store until the refurbishment works are completed.
Currently that date is expected to be Thursday, October 13 from 9am onwards.
It seemed today that some Lloyds customers were unaware of the closure until they reached the shop front where a large sign has been placed. As well as some of the shop front being cordoned off.
The sign reads: "We're closing for refurbishment. We'll be open again soon.
"This branch will close from Friday, September 16 and re-open at 9am Thursday, October 13, 2022."
For those customers wondering where they can go instead, the bank has directed people to their Bridgwater or Wellington branches.
"Please visit our team at 27 Fore Street, Wellington or 25 Cornhill, Bridgwater.
"They will be happy to help whilst we're closed."
Lloyds Bank have been approached for a comment.
