AN independent tyre supplier in Taunton has relocated to new, larger premises in the town.
GB Tyres (Taunton) Ltd now operates out of a unit in Cook Way, off Bindon Road.
The company had previously been based in Chip Lane for 33 years.
A spokesperson on behalf of the firm said: "GB Tyres is the longest established independent family-owned tyre shop in the Taunton area.
"It originated in Canon Street in Taunton some 40 years ago and moved to the Chip Lane site around 1989.
"It was also the longest-standing business in Chip Lane.
"With a huge following of loyal customers drawn back time and time again by the honest advice, competitive pricing and exemplary customer service they received, GB Tyres had outgrown the small but functional site."
The new site in Cook Way features a vast secure parking and turning area along with larger offices and reception.
The spokesperson said GB Tyres is now able to officer customers "more space and a comfortable wait" while having works carried out.
