THE boss of a former chapel-turned-pub has decided to open for just two days a week "to survive and keep costs down".

Sarah Snowden has decided to close the Thai Kitchen in The Chapel, in Cotford St Luke.

Instead The Chapel will be run as a bar and pizzeria only at the weekend.

Ms Snowden says the Thai Kitchen, along with the chefs and most of the team, will move to The Lethbridge Arms, in Bishops Lydeard, where she is mine host.

In a Facebook post, she said: "In order to survive and keep costs down, in the current economic climate, running the Thai Kitchen in this magnificent building is no longer viable and we’re having to make some changes.

"So, the Thai Kitchen, chefs and majority of the team will, over the coming week, move over to The Lethbridge Arms in Bishops Lydeard.

"The Chapel will reopen as bar and pizza only at the weekends."
