THE M5 Junction 25 upgrades near Taunton have been shortlisted for an award at the Highways Awards 2022.
The project, which was delivered by Somerset Council is up for the Major Project of the Year award.
The Council said: "Terrific news for our Highways teams! Our M5 Junction 25 scheme has been nominated in the Major Projects category at this year's Highways Awards 2022."
National Highways said: "We're delighted the M5 Junction 25 has been shortlisted for the Major Project of the year award, at the prestigious Highways Awards 2022.
"The project was delivered by Somerset Council with £4m of investment from our growth and housing fund. Good luck to all nominated!"
The Highways Awards 2022 returns on Wednesday October 19 to a brand new venue, the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London.
A highlight of the highways annual calendar, the event will bring together 500+ highways heroes for a black tie gala dinner and night of celebration like no other.
