A WELLINGTON-based company has been presented with two industry awards on the same evening.

MK Test Systems won both awards for the company’s newest product RTS, a high-speed electrical test system for the aerospace sector.

RTS was given the silver prize at the E&T Innovation Awards in the ‘Most Innovative Project for the Future of Manufacturing’ category.

The London ceremony was attended by Alan Wilson, MK Test Systems’ Engineering Director.

At the same time, RTS was announced as the winner of the ‘AeroTech’ award at the Tech South West awards, held in Bristol’s Aerospace Museum under the wings of Concorde.

Somerset County Gazette:

Eight MK Test team members attended the ceremony to accept the award and to celebrate the company’s achievement.

Nick Baker, NPD manager, and RTS project leader was one of the teams' member who accepted the award at the Tech South West event.

He said: “I was really proud to accept the award on behalf of the wider team. It’s such a great achievement and nice to be recognised for all the hard work that went into making RTS a reality. Congratulations to everyone involved.”
