TAUNTON Town return to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this week as they welcome Braintree Town in the National League South.

It will be a tough fixture, as they all are in this league. But Braintree come into this match currently sat in fifth place in the league table.

Taunton are in 16th place but do have at least three games in hand over the teams around them on the table.

Form wise, Taunton have picked up more points in the last five matches than the visitors, however Braintree are currently on a two game winning run.

Taunton's draw away from home against Hemel will give the players a boost despite Rob Dray saying the players could have done more.

Levi Amantchi is the danger man for Braintree; he has scored six times this campaign for his side. Taunton's top league goalscorer is Dave Sims-Burgess with three.

That match is due to kick off at 12.30pm in Taunton. If England win their World Cup group, they too will play that day. A good afternoon of football for Taunton-based England fans.
