A GROUP of creative artists attended the formal launch at the Wiveliscombe Community Centre of the ‘10 Parishes Creative Gallery’.
The event took place last Thursday and the project, funded by Somerset County Council, aims to promote and increase knowledge of the variety and richness of creative talent in the 10 parishes as well as marketing the artists.
The next stages are to widen the awareness of the gallery, and also incorporate the additional creative artists looking to become involved.
The ‘10 Parishes’ term refers to the parish of Wiveliscombe and those in the surrounding area in west Somerset.
The parishes are: Ashbrittle, Bathealton, Brompton Ralph, Chipstable, Clatworthy, Fitzhead, Huish Champflower, Milverton, Stawley, and Wiveliscombe.
