A COUPLE who always create one of Taunton's best Christmas displays have made it even bigger and better this year.
Evette and Richard Wakely have put up a dazzling array of lights and decorations outside their home in Dorchster Road.
The fantastic show is lovingly laid out as a tribute to a friend's son who died at just 13-months-old.
It includes lights, music, animals and a grotto, with Santa waving in the window.
And the couple were able to include even more this year as they have extended their drive.
There is a charity tin for donations to Elliot's Touch, raising money for research into mitochondrial disease and childhood cardiomyopathy, from which Elliot Stevens, of Watchet, died in 2015.
Evette said: "When designing our charity display we have the children in mind.
"But it's to remember all the children that have passed too which is very close to our hearts.
"Our display is on from now till the end of December and the times are Sunday to Thursday 5pm till 9.30pm and Friday and Saturday 5pm till 10.30pm."
