FIREFIGHTERS who tackled a garage fire in Minehead in the early hours are returning to carry out checks this morning (Tuesday, December 6).
Two fire engines from the town's fire station and another one from Williton were sent to the incident at around 4am.
The building was well alight and crews got to work tackling the flames with hose reels and jets.
The fire was contained to the garage on the side of the property.
The main fire was extinguished by shortly after 5am, when firefighters were on the scene damping down.
Fire crews are due back this morning to ensure there is no fire spread.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
