A GROUP of amateur actors in Taunton have won a prestigious award.
The Taunton Thespians were delighted to scoop the Best Dramatic Production prize at the 2022 Rose Bowl Awards.
The received the accolade at a presentation evening in Bristol on Sunday (December 4).
The award was for the group's summer production of Tales from 1001 Arabian Nights.
The production was written and directed by Lorna Evans.
As well as being judged the winning production, The Taunton Thespians also received nominations in the Best Actor (drama) category for Maat ward and Steve Mercer; Best Actress (drama) category for Lorna Evans; and the creativity and design award category for Dona Bullion.
