TAUNTON Town will now host Weymouth on Friday night at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.

It is the return fixture of the Boxing Day clash which saw Taunton win 1-3 away from home.

Weymouth were relegated from the National League last season and have not enjoyed the best of times so far as they lie in 22nd place with 18 points from their 22 games played.

Recently though their form has picked up, as they were on a run of four games unbeaten which included a 5-0 win at Tonbridge and 3-1 success at Worthing.

Taunton are on a run of two wins after defeating Slough in the FA Trophy and then Weymouth in the league.

The squad is in a good place and their record at home has been impressive this season.

The club is expecting a big crowd to turn out for the Friday night fixture so early arrival is recommended.
