SOMERSET is set for a drenching tomorrow (New Year's Eve).
The Met Office has put a yellow rain warning in place covering the whole of Somerset.
It will be in place from midnight tonight (Friday, December 30) up until 9pm tomorrow (Saturday).
The warning also takes in parts of Devon and South Wales, and as far east as Brighton.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Heavy rain is expected to bring some surface water flooding and travel disruption."
We should expect:
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer;
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer;
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.
