- Firefighters and police officers were called to an incident at a disused factory in Evercreech, near Shepton Mallet, at around 1.20pm today.
- Black smoke was seen rising from the site, which was previously used by Greencore to make chilled desserts. It closed in 2018.
- Queens Road and Prestleigh Road were closed this afternoon while the emergency services responded to the incident. They have now re-opened.
- Police believe the fire was started deliberately and will interview a teenager in connection with the incident at a later date.
