HERE are some dramatic pictures of the double decker bus after it flipped onto its side at Bridgwater yesterday (Tuesday, January 17).
The incident, which also involved a motorcycle, occurred on the A39 Quantock Road at around 6am.
More than 50 people needed hospital treatment following the collision.
The B3339 Sandford Hill to Quantock Meadow was closed for a number of hours.
A huge emergency response of police, fire and ambulance crews, along with air ambulances attended the scene.
A major incident was declared with some injuries reported.
The road has since reopened.
