A FAMILIAR face has been missing from the streets of Taunton in recent weeks.
Police Community Support Officer Chandler Hallett is now training to become a fully fledged police officer.
Taunton Neighbourhood Policing team said good bye to him a couple of weeks ago.
He had served in the area as a PCSO for almost three years.
He spent most of that time working with the neighbourhood policing team in Wellington.
He transferred to the Taunton team last year, when he worked with licensed premises and other pieces of work.
He has now started his police constable training within Avon and Somerset Police.
A spokesperson for the Taunton Neighbourhood Policing team said: "We wish him the best of luck in his future career."
