The Ladies Section held their Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse on Wednesday February 1.
Once the formalities of the meeting were completed, the 2022/23 Lady Captain, Jackie Woodman, handed over the badge of honour to Jo Wyatt, the newly elected 2023/24 Lady Captain.
The incoming captain has been an active member of the Ladies Committee, sharing her golf knowledge and experience to the benefit of the Ladies Section.
“I am excited, if a little nervous in taking over as Lady Captain, but I will endeavour to keep our our section at the forefront of the Club," Wyatt said.
"I look forward to a year of camaraderie, smiles and good golf whilst also raising lots of money for my chosen charity Bridgwater & Taunton Foodbanks.”
During the course of the meeting a new Ladies Committee was voted in with all sharing a passion and enthusiasm for the game, while Heather Saxton was delighted to take on the role as the new President of the Ladies Section.
