POLICE have blitzed vehicles parking on the pavement at a Somerset train station.
Officers issued a number of parking penalty notices to vehicles at Castle Cary Station yesterday evening (Thursday, February 9).
The officers from the South Somerset and Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team targeted cars obstructing the highway.
A spokesperson for the team said: "The Somerton and Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out to Castle Cary train station issuing Parking Penalty Notices to vehicles parked on the pavement.
"It is an offence to obstruct the Highway and we will continue to visit the train station on our patrols to issue notices."
