TAUNTON Town went down 0-2 at home against Farnborough on Tuesday, meaning they remain in 17th place in the National League South.

Currently, after 24 games played, the Peacocks have won eight, drawn eight and lost eight games.

Leaving them on a total of 32 points for the league table.

On Tuesday, 18th placed Dulwich Hamlet lost 3-2 away against Braintree Town, helping Taunton hold down their position.

Taunton still have up to seven games in hand on some teams in the competition, which can be looked at two ways.

Good news in the fact that the Peacocks now know what points are required to avoid dropping into a relegation battle.

However bad news in the fact that the amount of games left to play will be a tough ask on the already small squad.

Their next challenge is an away trip to face Havant and Waterlooville on Saturday. Taunton are next at home on Tuesday, February 21 when they host Oxford United.
