TAUNTON Town are now sat in 16th place after a well-earned point took them above Slough in the National League South.

There was plenty of movement in the table over the last week, most notably, Farnborough and Braintree Town. The pair continued their impressive form in the league.

Hungerford Town are also enjoying a three-win run which has seen them move to 22nd in the league table.

For the Peacocks, they have now played 26 games, won eight, drawn nine and lost nine for a total of 33 points.

Looking at the table, around 45 points would most likely be enough to stear clear of relegation.

And with a minimum of four games in hand on the teams around them, Taunton look in the driving seat to get that target.

The Peacocks have two home games back-to-back this week coming. Saturday 3pm against Dover and then Tuesday 7.45pm against Eastborne Borough.
