A MAN has admitted three counts of criminal damage in an incident in a village just outside Taunton.

Lee Webster, 41, of Hilly Park, Norton Fitzwarren, pleaded guilty to three charges of criminal damage when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court this morning (Wednesday, February 22).

The charges related to a disturbance in Hilly Park on Monday (February 20) at about 1.30pm, when Webster was arrested.

He is alleged to have caused damage to a property, a vehicle and a police cell.

Webster was released by the court on conditional bail pending pre-sentence reports.
