Megan's Academy of Dance at Nationwide Street Dance finals

A team of more than 70 dancers and parents from the group attended the event.

Several dancers reached the semi-finals in their categories and there were winners as well.

Barnaby Groves came second out of 22 competitors in the three to five years age group; Alexa Rackham was fifth out of 61 in the six to 10s; Aimee Yarde and Hannah Ponter ended sixth in the 13 to 15 duos; and Sandra Alvarez and Joanne Knutt were ranked fourth in the 26 years and above duos.

Lilly Nicholls achieved fourth place in her category, Isobelle Bryant-Bodiam was fifth.  Riley Biddiscombe and Summer Bonsall were sixth in the boy/girl duos.

In addition, the under nine years crew came third and the mixed age crew also came third in their respective categories.

The icing on the cake was the achievement of first place by the adult crew who added this to their top placing at the Nationwide Freestyle Dance Championships in Blackpool last November.
