EFFORTS are underway to enable the community to make more use of a village church.

A planning application has been submitted to Somerset West and Taunton Council for an improved and welcoming entrance at St Lawrence Church, Lydeard St Lawrence as well as service installations.

It is among the latest planning applications received by the council.

BISHOP'S HULL.
