SOMERSET Council has announced a stretch of a road on the edge of Taunton will be temporarily closed for a fortnight.
Traffic will be prohibited from using a 121-metre section of Bushy Cross Lane, in Ruishton, 24 hours a day during the closure.
The road closure runs from a spot 160 metres north of the junction with Ilminster Road for a total distance of 121 metres.
The closure is expected to last from next Wednesday (April 12) until Wednesday, April 26.
The order was made by the council to enable K&M Groundworks SW Ltd to knock down and rebuild a bank retaining wall.
