A SECTION of a main road off Taunton town centre is expected to be closed to traffic overnight on two days next week.
Somerset Council has issued an order prohibiting all vehicles from using a stretch of Bridge Street.
It covers a total distance of 72 metres of road from the junction with Wood Street in a south eastwards direction.
The closure will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to renew a stop tap in the street.
Somerset Council says the closure is likely to be in place from next Thursday (April 20) until the following day (Friday, April 21).
It will mean traffic is unable to use the road between 6pm and 6.30am.
