POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Somerset following which an elderly man has died.
The man, in his 70s, died in hospital from his injuries sustained in the collision between a van and a car.
The incident happened at the Parkgate Lane junction on the A361 in Beckington, near Frome, on Friday, March 24.
The car driver sadly died three weeks later.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have been driving along the A361 at the time of the incident.
"We are also interested to speak to anyone with dashcam footage.
