THE family of a well-known Taunton man who has been missing for over a week are appealing for him to get in touch.

Terry Taylor was last seen in the town at 11pm last Thursday (April 28).

His family say they are unsure why he has disappeared and they are becoming increasingly worried.

In a family message they said: "Terry, please make contact and let us know you're safe and well.

"Mum, dad and your sisters and brothers are missing you.

"As the days go by we're getting more and more worried."

Terry, aged 37, who has lived in Taunton all his life, had gone missing a couple of days previously before returning home.

But following the latest development, the family added: "He went missing again last Thursday and there have been no sightings since.

"We don't really know what's caused it or what's happened, although he wasn't in a very good state of mind.

"We're desperate for any information or to know where he is."

Terry, who lives in central Taunton and works in the town, is believed to be with his car, a red Vauxhall Astra, registration GL 61 BVU.

He is described by his family as 5ft 9in tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and short, mousey blond hair.

He usually has stubble and has a number of tattoos on his right wrist and a full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm.

The police are involved and if anyone sees Terry, they should call 999 and give the call handler the reference number 5223099569.

Alternatively, you can call the police with any other information on 101 with the same reference number.

The family added: "We're asking people to please look out for him and his car."
